People recognize her as Cecilia Yong Ling Shi AKA CC; ride the waves of fame on the Aug 1, 2008 when show host Aishah Sinclair announced her winner of the reality show, So You Think You Can Dance (Season Two). Her Enthusiast Character define by her abilities in regenerating self motivation throughout the reality show was her plus point that outstand others along side. Stress was rumored by the papers during the competition but FreedomExpression© sees her breaking down moments as a display of revival in faith, strength, and courage that rejuvenates self believe to push harder and proof what she's worth till the end is done. A Trade That We FreedomExpression© Sees in Cecilia=Priceless.
Cecilia got herself involve with dancing when she was only 9; Ballet was her starting point to endless grace OF TODAY & TOMMOROW. When we were doing literature reviews of her, it was said by active bloggers on the net that her winnings had been donated charitable to the needs of unfortunates and churches. This is why we seek Cecilia for her generous and social awareness towards humanity. "People who makes a Difference in their Life Inspires" The Author.

CC... Speaks Serious & Not So Serious Dance Stuffs....
1)      How would you describe the current dance scene in Malaysia?
Honestly, i think the current dance scene in Malaysia is growing very slowly. sometimes i personally think it is a waste because there are so many young and talented dancers out there whom feel so lost and somehow stuck in the middle whether to pursue dancing further or not.

2)      How are you going to change this?
How??!! I would firstly start with myself, to improve and feed myself with more knowledge about dance and get more exposure outside. Through this, the coming generation that is under me would be able to learn and understand more about dance. These indirectly affect the mindset of the coming generation about dancing and hopefully the industry would move up higher at a faster rate than before.

3)      How would you rate your dancing skills?
I would say, I am still a student and will never stop learning and improving myself no matter how good i turn out to be in the future. I believe dance is very subjective and different people have different perception for dance.
For example - I would prefer watching dancer who might not have the best technique but it is how they dance that matters. Their own unique interpretation that would touch me. Dance through their heart that filled with passion and love.
Cecilia Yong: “I guess everything has already been written and planned... Let it flow as it is...”

4)      What’s the most unusual compliment you’ve ever received about your dancing?
Hahaha... unusual?? I dance Hip Hop with Latin flavor.. I am a Latin Dancer and when i dance hip hop sometimes the usual habit that i do in Latin will somehow come out naturally when I dance other genre... especially hip hop *shy*

5)      Who would you say is your biggest competitor in Msia?
My biggest competitor?? It would be myself. I always put high expectations on myself when it comes to dancing. I want to see improvement and achievements.. However sometimes i do get lazy and laid back as well, and getting through that mindset is actually more difficult than anything else. *smiling*

6)      What’s the most embarrassing/awkward thing that’s happened to you on stage?
I remember in November year 2005, I was competing in a Latin Championship in Penang. I was dancing halfway then suddenly my costume buckle just snapped off.. Luckily I am still able to dance while holding on to the costume till the dance was finish and quickly ran out to get it hooked back in place and tada!!~ i'm out on the dance floor again..

7)      What are your New Year’s Resolutions for 2010?
Take things one step at a time. Going beyond expectations and live every second of my life to the fullest.
*another funny resolution is actually to learn how to cook* hehehehe =P

The REAL Cecilia VS
“The Author”
CC-Cecilia Yong
TA-The Author

1. Given One Wish to change Humanity What Would it be?
CC: I wish for everyone in this world to be able to look at oneself in the mirror and start changing to ourselves to become a better person instead of trying to change others!! Because everything start deep within us; our little heart..
*btw, michael jackson is my all time IDOL and i really mean IDOL!!! :D and my ultimate ultimate favourite song is MAN IN THE MIRROR - the lyrics of the song is sooo meaningful - just love them*

2. If tomorrow would be the last day Humanity would ever live what would be the first thing you do?
CC: Simple...To spend that moment of time with my beloved family. ..To share the last joy and laughter with them…As we might not have fate to become family in the next life time.

Cecilia Yong: Well I'm a very bubbly person... i loveeee to talk!! And of course dance!! And I always like expressing myself in dance coz' I believe my true self comes out while I dance... :D no stress.. hahahahaha!

3. How do you define love in perspective of US as Humans?
CC: Love to me means to have faith under any circumstances at all. It is never about I, ME or YOU but it is always about WE, US and ALL
TA: Ain't She Awesome!

4. Do you have a message for all the UNINSPIRED OUT THERE? Please do so...

CC: Definitely everyone would feel drained out and uninspired at many point in life. I felt it too!! My advice would be...Continue being uninspired, explore the uninspired side of you, bump around and feel useless and one day, when the time you wake up from bed, you would realize there are more to life rather than being uninspired... and from then on
even a simple smile by a stranger would inspire you to live every single moment of your life.. Live every moment as every moment only happen once in your whole lifetime.
TA: "FREEDOMEXPRESSIONS SEES THE UNSEEN HEAR THE UNHEARD."
